Medicare, Medicaid and VA: Our Current Position

Care Connect at Home does not currently handle these programs. Here is what that means when arranging care.

3 min read · Updated October 2026

Care Connect at Home does not currently accept or coordinate Medicare, Medicaid or VA benefits. Contact us for a quote for privately arranged non-medical care.

If your plan depends on one of these programs, confirm eligible services and participating providers directly with the program before booking. Do not assume a licensed home-care agency automatically participates in every benefit arrangement.

Medicare home health is a different service

Medicare describes coverage for eligible skilled home health services under specific conditions. It does not pay for 24-hour care at home or personal care when that is the only care needed. A medical professional and the program can explain whether a particular situation meets the rules.

Care Connect at Home provides non-medical assistance. We do not arrange or bill Medicare home health services.

Medicaid and VA questions

We do not currently accept or coordinate Medicaid or VA benefits. This page is not an eligibility assessment and does not list benefit amounts or promise that a program will fund the services you need.

Contact the relevant program for current rules, authorized services and participating providers. Ask whether approval is needed before services begin and who is responsible for arranging payment.

If you are considering privately arranged help

You can contact us to discuss non-medical tasks and request a quote. Keep that decision separate from any unconfirmed benefit application. If you have a long-term care insurance policy, check reimbursement conditions directly with the insurer as well.

Knowing the payment arrangement before starting helps avoid surprises. Bring your schedule and budget questions to the consultation; there is no charge for the visit and no obligation to begin care.
